Troy Cook visits St George's

In preparation for Multicultural Day, Troy Cooke, former Fremantle Dockers player, visited the school to thank the students for raising money for the Wirrpanda Foundation during the Lincoln Charity Day in Term 1.

Troy spoke about his rise in football and his current leadership within the Wirrpanda Foundation. His message to students was that we have a responsibility to be respectful and to embrace multiculturalism in Australia. We need to educate ourselves and act with understanding and kindness when we meet new people. He called upon our students to embrace being leaders within their communities, no matter their age or confidence.
