Remembrance Day

Found in: News

A special Remembrance Day service will be held this Friday at St George's Cathedral from 10.30 am until 11.15 am after which the Villers-Bretonneux Cross, made by WA men of the 51st Battalion, will be carried out on to the Cathedral Square lawn by St George’s Anglican Grammar School students and placed on display.

Our students will also assist with placing more than 7,000 knitted poppies on the lawns of Cathedral Square. The poppies will pay tribute to all who died or suffered in all wars and armed conflicts.
