Complaints and Disputes Resolution Policy
The Complaints and Disputes Resolution Policy applies to all schools of the Anglican Schools Commission.
The School Education Act 1999 (174 1(d)) requires an educational system such as the Anglican Schools Commission (Inc) to have a means by which disputes and complaints about the provision of education are resolved.
We seek to be a caring Christian community, where people are in harmony with each other. Therefore this Policy is designed to assist staff, parents, students and others in Anglican Schools Commission schools to resolve conflict in an appropriate and satisfactory way.
This Policy is written with the understanding and experience that, in most cases, matters are best resolved at the local school level.
The Anglican Schools Commission (ASC) is committed to child safety and has developed this Policy to assist Principals, teachers and other school staff to deal appropriately with the issue of child protection, and by doing so is supporting a consistent approach by all ASC schools to this important issue.
