St George's Advanced Music Program (known as AMP) is an extension opportunity for students to improve their musical abilities - together.
"Music can change the world because it can change people". — Bono
AMP provides a solid foundation in Years 7, 8, 9 and 10 to take practical music-making to experimental level. Working together, students develop instrumental, performance, compositional and theoretical skills.
AMP gives students an excellent technical, practical and theoretical basis and prepares them for a creative and artistic life after school, regardless of their post-school destination.
It provides a pathway to ATAR Music, a Cert III in Music if desired, and there are no additional costs to enter the program.
